Saint Thomas Kids: October Update

We are so grateful for the children of Saint Thomas Church, our faithful volunteers, and your prayers for this ministry. As our attendance numbers continue to grow, we have changes in process to provide safe care and meaningful instruction.

• Nursery/Childcare (0-3) Years
  We're pleased to announce two contracted Sunday-evening caregivers to ensure consistent, age-appropriate care. The space will be divided into two groups:

  • Infants - 18 months/walking

  • Walking - 3 years

• Saint Thomas Kids (4 years to 5th Grade)
  Average weekly attendance is 13 (high of 22). After prayer and input from parents and volunteers, we plan to add a younger classroom for 4-year-olds through first grade, with a simple, story-based lesson and a craft/activity. The other age group, 2nd-5th grade, will remain in place.

• Sunday Flow
  All children start Saint Thomas Kids at the same time and reenter during the Passing of the Peace. The two age groups will split after Kids Time beings.

• Target Launch

  We hope to soft-launch the younger classroom on the second Sunday of December. Please pray for teaching leads and helpers for this class.
