CONGREGATIONAL WAY OF LIFE

COMMUNAL WORSHIP

  • Catholic

We believe that where the church is gathered, the work of Christ is being done. We celebrate the work done through other churches in our community and join in their efforts.

  • Anglican

We are unashamedly thankful for the spirituality that we have inherited in the Anglican tradition. We trust in the authority of Scripture, the apostolic witness of the Church, the stability of liturgy, and the presence of Christ in both Word and Sacrament.

  • Word & Sacrament

We are committed to the regular gathering to hear the Word proclaimed through the Scriptures and to have our souls nourished through the body and blood of Christ through the Eucharist.

INTERDEPENDENT LIVING

  • Mutuality

We pursue unity while welcoming and depending on a diversity of perspectives on matters that need not divide us.

  • Presence

We embrace the gifts of being local and finite, training our focus on where we can be most faithful and fruitful.

  • Justice

We embody the call to seek the common good of our city, particularly in areas of need and suffering.

SACRIFICIAL GENEROSITY

  • Hospitality

Remembering the great lengths that Jesus has gone to welcome us, we welcome the strangers through friendship and care.

  • Witness

We know and regularly share our experiences of God’s grace, inviting each other and our community into a deeper relationship with God.

We recognize that everything we own belongs to God and we are simply stewards of his wealth and resources as we give generously.
